Grace biking in Mission

Grace biking in Mission
Grace was one of the very first people I asked to have her photo taken - she just looked so cool on her bike. Grace was super nice, with a great smile she said 'no problem'

The park at 1 Ave NW & Gladstone

We can only hope we will be as cool as these guys...

Park @ 1 Ave NW and Gladstone

This is Bill... and his RAD Moulton! It has been restored by Bill and he knows a tonne about it. It's around 60 years old and it is the very first bike ever made with suspension. It looks like a foldable frame, but this model was pre-foldable bikes. In fact, it was the model that inspired the foldable bike.Check out the detail photos and video here . I was told Bill wore a kilt the next day at the Calgary Bow River Flow. Bill you are a slick dresser, a well of knowledge and bumping into you, Bill,* and Heather in the park was a very pleasant surprise.

* Bill's friend is also named Bill.

Royal Ave and 7 St SW

We can only hope to be as cool as these guys...

Royal Ave. & 7 St. SW

This is Ron. He's been cycling since he was a young school boy and even when it was uncool in his high school years, he biked. He says, "I have two cars, but if I can bike it, I will. It's quicker." Vive le Velo, Ron! Thanks for stopping on your way to get to the store before it closed -- I hope our chatty ways didn't make you miss it!

Stephen Ave during Stampede

L1010523

This one is from way back at the beginning of July. I can't remember her name, but she's from the Netherlands, I believe....or Finland...or Norway. I need to write things down. She'd just moved here and was just checking out the city, cas'd out in bike traveling casuals.

4 St and 13 Ave SW

Chilling at the corner waiting to meet up with a friend - this girl cycled by wearing a cute little empire waist t-dress with lacy black tights and those desert boots all the hipsters girls are wearing these days. Very cute indeed!
